Minneapolis Mayday Parade Has A Record-Breaking Year

After years of financial losses, the Minneapolis MayDay Parade experienced a record-breaking year. The parade, organized by the Heart of the Beast Theatre, had faced financial difficulties and called upon consulting firm Imagine Deliver and nonprofit Juxtaposition Arts to develop strategies for the theater’s survival, its signature event, and its home, the Avalon Theatre on Lake Street. The success of the 2019 parade reflects the collective efforts of the theater, Imagine Deliver, Juxtaposition Arts, and the broader community to support the arts and celebrate Minneapolis’ diverse culture.
